UPDATE: I’m updating this post as of 5/4/2017! We have once again given Pangaea a newer cleaner look. We decided to add hero images to the home page and change the lines and look but the bones and structure remain the same.
In the beginning of 2016, T Robinson reached out to me to create an updated website to reflect his high-end area rug furnishings center. Pangaea Carpets sells beautiful hand woven carpets, ethically sourced and in every style and color imagined. The website lacked a high-end feel and hadn’t been updated in years.
T wanted the new website to be clean and showcase about 140 area rugs in his inventory without displaying pricing but in a sort of “ecommerce” way. The challenge here without a commerce website was to find a way to stay relevant and get the customer to contact him.
T also wanted some new and fresh branding elements to compliment his logo (which remained the same) and give new life into his marketing collateral.
We also decided to ramp up Pangaea’s social media and blog to engage customers and advertise trends and sales. We wanted to implement Search Engine Optimization to get results in Google rankings.
I was so honored to work on this project as I love the designs and creative colors with different interiors. Not to mention, I love working with local Evergreen clients and share our vision of wonderful Colorado!
T has been a pleasure to work with Pangaea Carpets and I look forward to continued development of his marketing vision.
The overall objective of revising Pangaea’s website was to get qualified customers calling and through the door with an updated and fresh look. We decided to keep the logo and some marketing elements the same while adding other newly designed enhancements.
- Give a more updated high end feel with very simple design aesthetics
- Get in touch with interior designers
- Integrate DENVER for search results
- Engage social media and advertising
- Start a blog for fresh content
- Display about 140 products searchable based on color and design
- Maintain the ongoing needs of the website and edit as necessary
- WordPress Website
- Facebook / Twitter Instagram covers
- Facebook ads
- Digital infographs
- Blog graphics
The Pangaea website redesign really took shape with some tweaking and movement. We created a simple layout with clean lines and easy navigation. The “non-e-commerce” with inventory features pricing categories, descriptions and easy-to-contact buttons. We also added social media functions for products and pages which helped cultivate the online presence of Pangaea.
Not only did we complete the website, but to compliment T’s marketing efforts, we updated social media covers, revamped the email template and created refreshing blogs and blog graphics to share. The new design elements are also featured in Facebook ads and coupons.
I couldn’t have been happier with the result and Owner T loved his new look. We continue to update and makes edits to this ever fluid website!
From my client:
I am Completely satisfied with the design & functionality of the web site!
Leslie is fantastic to work with. She is patient with my personal learning curve and continues to research the changing landscape of digital media in order to ensure that my website and social media efforts perform to the latest standards.
All costs were clearly communicated and all projects quickly executed. I would highly recommend Leslie for your online social media efforts.
